American Platinum Eagles in .9995 fine platinum, certified and listed with grade and certification number. The proof issues are the substance of this collection: the US Mint has struck them in consistently small numbers since 1997, and several years have proof mintages under 10,000 across all sizes.

Platinum Eagles are the least-collected of the US Mint's precious metal programs, which is exactly why the population reports are interesting — a PR 70 DCAM in a mid-2000s year can be a two-digit population. Sizes here run 1/10 oz, 1/4 oz, 1/2 oz and 1 oz, with First Strike designations noted where present.
