Palladium (Pd)

Palladium is the newest metal in United States coinage. The Mint did not strike a palladium coin until 2017, when the American Palladium Eagle appeared carrying Adolph Weinman's 1916 Mercury dime obverse and his 1907 AIA medal reverse — designs that had never before appeared together on a coin.

Mintages are small by the standards of the Mint's other series, and the reverse proof and high relief issues smaller still. That makes the certified populations here worth checking rather than assuming.

This is a short collection by design: every palladium coin assay house holds, each a single certified example with its grade and certification number stated.
