Gold Libertads are the scarcest part of the Mexican Libertad program. Casa de Moneda de México strikes them in far smaller numbers than the silver — fractional gold mintages in several years run to the low thousands, and the graded populations are correspondingly thin.

This collection covers the 1/2 onza and 1 onza in .999 fine gold, in business strike and proof, certified by NGC and PCGS. The design matches the silver: the Angel of Independence over Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl, with the historical coats of arms on the obverse.

Each coin is a single certified example listed with its grade and certification number.
