Effective: June 2026

Every item we sell is photographed, described, and independently verified before it is listed. Because our inventory consists of graded and collectible coins and currency, the following terms apply to all purchases made through assayhouse.com and our marketplace channels.

When we accept returns

We want you to receive exactly what you ordered. We accept returns within 14 days of delivery when an item is not as described or the error is ours (you must notify assay house of the issue by emailing sales@assayhouse.com within 3 days of delivery) — examples of accepted returns include, the wrong item, grade, or certification number, the item has damage or a defect that was not disclosed in the listing, or the item was damaged or lost in transit. For these returns we cover return shipping with a prepaid, insured label, and once we receive and verify the item we issue a full refund including original shipping if applicable.

When we don’t accept returns

Because coin and bullion values move with the metals and collectibles markets, we cannot accept returns for change of mind, buyer’s remorse, or changes in metal or market prices after purchase. Please review all photographs, grades, and certification numbers before ordering — certification numbers can be verified directly with NGC, PCGS, CACG, or PMG, and we are glad to send additional photos or answer questions before you buy.

Condition of returned items

Approved returns must be sent back in their original, unaltered condition. Graded coins and certified notes must remain sealed in their original third-party holders (PCGS, NGC, CACG, PMG, and similar). Holders that have been cracked, opened, or tampered with are not eligible for return.

Marketplace purchases

If you purchased through a marketplace (eBay, TikTok Shop, Facebook Marketplace, or Google), that platform’s buyer-protection program also applies and may provide additional coverage for items that arrive not as described or damaged.
