Goat years fall in 2003 in Series I, 2015 in Series II and 2027 in Series III. The 2003 issues close out the first half of the original cycle and are among the harder Series I dates to find in MS 70; the 2015 fractional gold — the 1/20 oz with a First Strike designation and the 1/4 oz — is the more attainable end.

The Goat returns in 2027 as the eighth animal of Series III. Perth Mint Lunar releases are announced and struck ahead of the calendar year they name, so the 2027 Goat becomes available before the year itself begins.
